The United Architects of the Philippines – Mt Kanla-on Chapter ( UAP-MK ) has set its new officers for the Fiscal Year 2020-2021.
The new officers were elected into office last February 18, 2020, at Circle Inn Hotel in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, during the Chapter Election while celebrating the 9th Chapter Anniversary.
Elected into office were Ar. Russel J. Pamulaya, President, the Incumbent President for the second term; Ar. Hugo Flores M. III, Vice-President for programs and Development; Ar. Johnny C. Caluag, Vice-President for Operations; Ar. Julianne Mae A. de la Paz, Secretary; Ar. Richard L. Donguez, Treasurer; Jerrelyn P. Guanco, Auditor.
Others were voted for the Board of Directors to hold various committees. Ar. Emi Paulette H. Lizada, Director, Membership and Internal Affairs; Ar. Shannon M. Batiduan. Director, Professional Development, and CPD; Ar. Wendy T. Mamar, Director, Professional Practice; Ar. Christian Louie C. Hatton, Director, Ways, and Means; Ar. Jomar R. Villarma, Director, Government sand Externa Affairs.
Immediate past officers who finished their term for the Fiscal Year 2019 -2020 are Ar. Henry L. Lapinig, Vice -President for Operations; Ar. Theresia Mae L. Gulmatico, Treasurer; Ar. Yvonne Piano, Auditor, and Ar. Carlo Lorenzo O. Dolorfo, Ar. Ramonsito Yandall, Rachel Mae Uy, Directors.
Chartered in Cebu City in February 18, 2011, UAP Mt Kanla-on Chapter was awarded as a Model Chapter in the New Chapter category on its first year of existence for 2011-2012. With an initial number of 23 charter members, the organization is now growing in membership for almost a hundred.
UAP MK has a tagline “Architects for Change” as defined in the logo and singled out in the official chapter hymn.
